• Selected for exceptional performance to serve as the senior advisor to an infantry battalion commander; responsible for coordination and execution of field artillery and air support assets for over 600 soldiers.• Charged with training soldiers in the process to implement artillery rapidly in a complex environment.• Supervised the development, welfare, and performance of four specialized teams encompassing 18 soldiers: responsible for the logistics and maintenance of their combat equipment.• Developed comprehensive plans to utilize incompatible artillery and air assets in two multinational training exercises with NATO allies in Romania and Bulgaria. • Investigated and prepared after action reports for field training exercises which identified adjustments and improvements to planning and execution of operations in the infantry battalion. Emphasized creating efficiencies in the decision cycle to reduce time required to deliver ordnance.

• Entrusted with the performance, training, and health of a field artillery platoon, consisting of 32 soldiers and approximately $15 million in equipment. • Managed the deployments of the platoon to California, Poland, and Germany; overcame significant logistical challenges to conduct mission-critical movements of soldiers and equipment on expedited timelines. • Oversaw the maintenance and repairs of 13 combat vehicles and weapons systems in austere conditions in California and Poland; prioritized maintenance and repairs to support the commander’s mission.

• Managed a specialized team of forward observers providing technical expertise to a cavalry troop of approximately 100 Soldiers. • Planned and executed training in changing environments including the Republic of Korea and Fort Irwin, California to create understanding within the troop of processes to expedite artillery and air support. • Identified under-used systems in simulated combat to provide the commander with additional reconnaissance assets, directly led to successful operations.
