Supported anything and everything that needed an extra pair of hands or set of eyes for both a senior and mid level Mechanical Engineers. This gave me the opportunity to learn a variety of skill sets in a relatively short amount of time. Some of these skills included working with production staff to address Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), drafting design modifications from team members, drawing creation from requirements and specifications, conducting and overseeing mechanical assembly, designing/ conducting environmental testing, and constructing test fixtures. Getting the opportunity to see and work on projects at every stage of the design and manufacturing process was invaluable because it gave me the opportunity to speak with both the people on the manufacturing floor and in engineering and see projects from both sides.
