As a Social Media Coordinator, I create, curate, and manage published content across various social media platforms. My primary goal is to enhance brand recognition, drive web traffic, and engage users effectively. My duties encompass developing and executing a consistent posting schedule, crafting compelling messages, analyzing engagement data, and adjusting marketing strategies based on insights. I also liaise with other team members or departments to ensure our brand voice remains cohesive. Moreover, I handle direct communications with our followers, ensuring their queries are responded to promptly and always stay updated with the latest platform trends to ensure our brand stays ahead in the digital landscape.

Over a 6-month period, I completed an internship under the mentorship of Malcolm Cole at SAS Group, a strategic communications consultancy offering services in public affairs, alongside government and business relations. My responsibilities included researching and writing media releases, preparing briefing notes for clients, and creating reports and background documents for public release. The internship was an opportunity to demonstrate and apply my ability within a communications role while also developing my ability to work effectively and synergistically in a professional environment.
