    Achieved candidacy in the Marine Biology and Environmental Biology department at USC. As part of my duties I carry out independent research in collaboration with my PI and have proficiency in Matlab, R, bash command line, and familiarity with python. I have developed a method of low-dimensional representation (Reynolds et al. 2023) for identifying co-occurring collections of functions in large genomic datasets using bayesian modeling. Other projects include characterizing organismal metabolism in thousands of draft genomes and clustering data using unsupervised machine learning techniques (Reynolds et al. 2024), as well as network theory based measures of programmatic accuracy for metabolic modeling software (Reynolds et al. in prep.).

Also worked with the cell lines, culturing, growing, wounding them and running migration assays.
