I've always been an athlete; however, sometime in my 20's I realized I wasn't going to turn pro so I did the next best thing and got into the world of sports management. It has been amazing! I couldn't imagine a career in any other industry. I love the event planning aspects, the volunteer management, the strategic planning, the athlete development, and everything else that goes into the world of sports administration. I have spent the bulk of my career, thus far, with the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) where I had a hand in coordinating 1,000+ tournaments over the years. I've travelled across Ontario and worked with so many incredible people to promote community and youth development through sport. I left OVA in 2018 after 15 outstanding years, and I'm now exposing myself to a variety of other roles to expand my skill set (which you can read all about in my profile below). When I'm not hard at work, I've started to fall back in love with the outdoors and mountain biking. There's a beautiful calmness about the woods, thats slows life down a bit. Obviously I also love playing volleyball and I try to golf when I can. Outside of sports, I'm always working on improving my digital content skills and, of course, I love spending time with my family.
