I am an experienced senior manager with a track record developing teams and deep diving into data to generate new insights and strategies. I have spent considerable time managing capacity and driving sustainable continuous improvement through an understanding of mechanisms and a focus on individual and team development. While launching a new Amazon warehouse as a senior manager and leading half of the building, I took a consistent approach to teach and allow my team to make decisions, make mistakes, learn, and iterate. The building has long been recognized as best in class for its site type and building generation.I love to learn and expand my understanding of complex systems. I take great joy in making complex systems accessible through identifying variables and how they relate to each other. This was particularly evident with my team at Nike identifying and highlighted changes that needed to be made to the warehouse management system. I took a novel approach to collect a new set of data and simplified the results into actionable insights.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated the ability to earn the trust of all levels from hourly employees up to regional directors. Communication and consistency have enabled me to get the buy in for projects to be successful and also allows input from all levels to make for more impactful improvements. I will utilize various communication styles from written communication, data visualization, and verbal communication to highlight current state and the opportunity to improve to the desired future state.
