▪ Responsible for a global team covering virtually all areas of infrastructure and operations▪ My most significant ‘win’ was planning and executing the modernization and relocation of three data center locations that will result in an annual operating expense reduction of 30% ($8M) while eliminating risk and improving performance.▪ I developed business cases, advocated for, and implemented a long-term data center strategy, designing and mobilizing resources required to execute the overall roadmap and various related programs.▪ Collaborating cross-functionally, I developed a target infrastructure and 35 scenario analyses designed to optimize for level of effort and ideal outcomes. To realize the final plan, I had 25,000 servers and 12 petabytes of storage rebuilt and relocated to the new locations. To do so, we developed a comprehensive automation and orchestration software platform to reduce overall time-to-deliver and to improve overall quality.▪ In parallel to the programs above, we overhauled the incident management and change management processes for the company to allow for improved measurement and analytics, as well as improved risk and problem management. Between 2019 and 2022, the number of serious operational incidents decreased by 58%

▪ I led a global team of 300+ engineering, operations and architecture staff, and oversaw $130-$140M annual budget and $200M+ OPEX annually. My team oversaw operations of 36,000 servers, 46 PB of storage, 8x Staffed Data Centers, >40 Access Centers, and corporate-wide infrastructure.▪ Before I came on board the processes for budgeting and project prioritization within operations was relatively basic. One of my proudest achievements was developing a framework for prioritization that was built on our core values and revamping the process to include extensive budget details and near real time financial reporting. We also developed a Project Management Office to manage around our portfolios, programs and project management practices.▪ While serving in this role, we developed and enhanced our capacity and utilization management reporting program. This helped improve decision making through visualization of large amounts data on human, compute, storage, facility and financial resources.

▪ I led an international team of ten managers and 70 engineers overseeing a 16 megawatts of data center capacity in Atlanta, Chicago, London and New York supporting a $30B market capital organization.▪ Under my leadership, the organization achieved organic operational, annual savings of $1.4M in 2014 and $2.1M in 2015 through targeted expense reduction programs within the organization’s leased infrastructure.▪ My key accomplishments included spearheading separation projects to aid divestiture of businesses, which included leasing new space and releasing / restructuring existing datacenter spaces.

▪ In this role I managed datacenter operations for trading and clearing businesses and developed initiatives and solutions that decreased operating expenses by over $11M over 10 years through datacenter lease negotiations.▪ Other major initiatives I developed and implemented include $2.5M of reliability upgrades to a production trading facility to improve reliability and optimize availability and the upgrade of a Tier 1 datacenter to a Tier 2 facility through electrical and mechanical upgrades to improve reliability, capacity and serviceability.▪ I was also responsible for infrastructure and asset maintenance, inventory and installations for 17,000 square feet (2.5MW) of critical datacenter facilities and 11 offices in the US.
