I am currently a Director of Training for Maximus. My previous position was Training Manager for Admar Supply, a construction equipment rental/sales/service company based in Rochester, NY. Prior to Admar I was an Academy Manager with Walmart Inc. Walmart Academy was a new training process that places training back in to our stores with a focus on hands on, real life experience. I managed training and operations at the Batavia, NY Walmart store where I opened the 13th Academy training center, out of 200 nation-wide. The Batavia Academy was also the first Academy center in the northeastern United States. I led 16 hourly & salaried direct reports who facilitate company initiatives and corporate training programs. My team served 2,500 hourly supervisors and salaried managers from 19 stores across western New York. I was also a retail operator who led 300+ associates and managers in the training store. I led the store’s associates to improve P&L performance, improve store standards, and exceed customer experience.Prior to that I was a Facilitator for Walmart's Field Talent Delivery delivering training programs for salaried managers in the Northeast US division, about 350 stores.During my time with Walmart I had experience consulting with stores to improve inventory management & grocery business. I created training programs to include web-based training, instructor led classes, and instructional design of training content for field stores, and the subsequent analysis of the training's effectiveness using various analytical techniques. I also have experience in the Asset Protection field with Walmart & Wilmorite Property Management. During my time with Walmart I achieved my Wicklander Interview certification and had success in shrink reduction, regulatory compliance, and inventory management.
