SPO Fielding Team

• Provide over-the-phone or email based technical assistance to ACC, GSC, SWA, and Guard fielded units. • Support the installation, configuration, upgrades and maintenance of Patriot Excalibur (PEX), UL/UC2 Increment 2, and TBMCS-Unit Level system. • Develop and execute major system upgrades and installations to include planning, site readiness, NOSC data pre-population, task execution, and status tracking to completion.• Provide TDY installation support for UL/UC2 Increment 2. • Train field support system administrators to support Win2008, Oracle, Weblogic, Win7 Pro, MS Sql Server, IIS, Win2008 clustering procedures, and UL/UC2 specific applications and services.• Perform systems and network administration supporting the ACC Tier I Unit Level Help Desk Lab servers and clients. • Support Windows 2003, Windows 2008 R2, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP servers and clients. • Maintain DHCP, DNS, WINS, Oracle Databases, WebLogic, PEX, SQL Server, and IIS Servers. • Create, test, and implement Cisco router configurations, for Standalone, NIPR and SIPR installations.

• Maintain network devices for multiple test networks used to test/validate new computer based programs designed for use by Army personnel in deployed/wartime environments.• Create/Update network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.• Administer multiple network devices, particularly Cisco 3750 switch stacks and HP ProCurve LAN management switches.• Ensure Communications Security (COMSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC) and Emissions Security (EMSEC) standards are adhered to.• Complete detailed monthly and weekly reports to submit to project lead prior to set deadlines, explaining what projects/issues were worked/resolved within that time-frame.

• Maintenance Operations Center Supervisor in charge of maintaining Integrated Maintenance Data System used to track maintenance on mission critical equipment.• Comm Focal Point Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge responsible for assigning trouble tickets to the appropriate back shop, then tracking and following through with any and all network related issues. • Automated Data Processing Equipment account manager accountable for over 3,000 accounts and computer systems.• Coordinated monthly Preventive Maintenance Inspections used to maintain the mission readiness of our equipment.• Trained 20 subordinates to the appropriate job standard • Supervised subordinates’ successful completion of all assigned tasks to the customer’s satisfaction.

•Architect for the Theatre Battle Management Core Systems-Unit Level (TBMCS-UL), a command and control weapon systems utilized by Wing leadership.• Established two server suite locations, developed the IP scheme, coordinated client placement requirements, and designed diagrams for each system location.• Installed the server suite hardware (server racks, servers in the racks, router, switch, and KG-175D TACLANES).• Installed software on primary and backup server suite, and built a master client operating system image deployed to every end-user computer.• Provided Tier 1 end-user support for all technical and user account issues related to the TBMCS-UL system; resolved issues at 100% completion rate.• Worked directly with Division Plans and Programs, responsible for creating policy and planning division exercises• Developed a new user training program and conducted new user training. Set up a training network used to familiarize new users with the TBMCS-UL system. • Completed weekly software updates, patches and hotfixes, which maintained a secure netword and reduced software vulnerabilities• Proficient in following additional programs: Microsoft Server, Microsoft Windows NT/XP/Vista/7, Microsoft Exchange, Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA), Active Directory, SQL Plus, Oracle, DOS, Gem Server, HyperTerminal, Remedy, VERITAS, Blackberry Enterprise Server and Systems Management Server.

• Deployed in support of an Army Special Forces Team as a Satellite Defense Network Technician in Operation Iraqi Freedom V • Set up and maintained communications and computer and network equipment on NIPR, SIPR, JWICS levels. Supported the following equipment: Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR), BAT GPS tracker, KYK-13, SDN-Medium deployable kit and Secure Transmission Equipment (STE). • Set up and maintained constant connections to the ASOMS network

• Information Assurance (IA) Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge responsible for 5,000 users across the base Local Area Network (LAN)• Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the network, ensuring no classified spillage was on unauthorized systems. Eradicated and controlled three instances of spillage on the UNCLASSIFIED network.• Assisted in replacing network infrastructure for 108 servers• Completed daily inspections of critical devices for maintaining network operation integrity and efficiency
