My main tasks include coordinating pre-commissioning activities, such as completing mechanical checksheets and overseeing dynamic runs on various equipment. I also use software like Bluebeam for flow path annotations and to create detailed functional test procedures.This role demands strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent task management skills. Ensuring the refinery's mechanical systems are successfully commissioned is our top priority. I'm responsible for overseeing operations with a focus on efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, I manage post-hydro activities like cleaning, drying, and borescope inspections, emphasizing precision and quality throughout the process.

As the Completions Walkdown Coordinator with Dynamysk at Braya Renewables NL, my responsibilities included completing thorough construction walkdowns prior to mechanical completions. This involved meticulously recording the progress and integrating this data into the completions management system, RFO Ready for Operations (RFO). My role was crucial in scheduling and leading Mechanical Completion (MC) walkdowns across various disciplines, where I detailed the punches, including taking photos and marking up drawings for each item, which were then uploaded to RFO.An integral part of my job was collaborating closely with the commissioning team. Together, we focused on executing the clearing of a significant portion of these punch list items. This strategy was aimed at alleviating the burden on the construction team and facilitating the expedited turnover of priority subsystems. My role required a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams to ensure smooth progression towards project completion.

In my role as a Mechanical Maintenance Planner at Petroplan, based in St. John's, Newfoundland, I focused on addressing unresolved issues from the Terra Nova FPSO's drydock and quayside phase in Spain. My primary task involved converting these pending punches into maintenance work requests and then into work orders. These work orders spanned a variety of areas including piping, mechanical tasks, and work on static equipment, requiring a comprehensive understanding of each area to ensure effective planning and execution.Additionally, I was responsible for conducting a thorough review of the FPSOs new preventative maintenance program. This involved scrutinizing regulatory PMs (Preventative Maintenance) in SAP and aligning them with construction and commissioning timelines. My goal was to set efficient PM start dates post-turnaround, ensuring that maintenance activities did not just comply with regulatory standards but also fit seamlessly into the FPSOs operational schedule. This role required a delicate balance of technical knowledge, strategic planning, and attention to detail, all of which were vital in maintaining the vessel's operational integrity and efficiency.

In my role as a CSU Support Specialist at Petroplan, stationed on the Terra Nova FPSO in Spain, I played a key role in the vessel's life extension turnaround. My primary responsibility was to develop mechanical commissioning packages for integration into the completions management system. This task was crucial in streamlining the commissioning process during the FPSOs drydock period.A significant aspect of my job involved representing the mechanical commissioning team during mechanical completion walkdowns, where I managed punch list items using Hexagon Smart Completions. Leveraging my expertise with this software, I also took on a mentoring role, coaching colleagues on its effective use.As the project progressed, my focus shifted to coordinating the resolution of punch list items. This involved creating detailed work packs and overseeing their execution by the craft teams aboard the FPSO. My comprehensive approach ensured that all tasks were completed efficiently and to the highest standards, contributing significantly to the successful completion of the FPSOs refurbishment and upgrade project.

As Quayside Project Coordinator, I was responsible for overseeing tank work at the Terra Nova FPSO quayside, located at the Bull Arm Fabrication Facility in Newfoundland. My primary focus was on the cargo and ballast tanks, coordinating essential repairs to prepare the vessel for its journey to drydock in Spain and ensuring readiness for more extensive work upon arrival. This involved managing the cleaning of cargo and ballast tanks and addressing mechanical, electrical, and OH&S requirements for safe entry. I ensured that all tasks were carried out efficiently and in accordance with safety standards, contributing significantly to the vessel's readiness for its next phase of life extension project.
