From working with end users with domestic broadband and email issues up to network and server administration (Windows/Linux) including working with the company's public cloud offering (setting up new users and supporting existing), this was a challenging role in a fast paced environment. Learning opportunities were frequent, as well as exposure to multiple technologies, both mature and emerging. As this role was situated in a datacentre, it would frequently involve racking of servers and network equipment for both internal and customer use, in addition to working with third parties to uphold infrastructure as required.Customer technical support was paramount in this role. I would ensure that customers are always updated with any support queries to ensure they can rest assured that their issues are being dealt with professionally and that they are resolved as soon as possible.
