Freelance creative specializing in visual storytelling. I draw comic books, illustrations, storyboards, children's books, animations and more using industry standard tools and software - primarily Photoshop and Procreate. I've illustrated and co-authored award-winning graphic novels published by HarperCollins, Penguin, Scholastic, Random House and Warner Bros and I've written and drawn comics for Marvel, Dark Horse, Webtoon and Z2. Artists spend more time working on comic books than any other member of the team (writers, designers, editors, sales), so I often take the managerial and creative lead on comic book projects- managing expectations, co-ordinating with sub-contractors, setting the schedules and meeting deadlines.

Our current publishing partners include HarperCollins, Rocketship Entertainment, the New York City Department of Education and many freelance clients. Our books have been translated into multiple languages and published world wide. We have also presented at educational conferences, ran comic book workshops for children, ran several successful crowdfunding campaigns and are regular guests at comic book conventions.

Contract hire. Artist and production manager on multiple books featuring the Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry characters. Adhered to character style guides, managed assistants, delivered production-ready assets.

Member of the graphic design team for the monthly pop culture entertainment magazines Wizard, InQuest Gamer, ToyFare, special editions, comic books and promotional goods. Designed printed assets, article layouts and created original graphics for hundreds of printed magazine pages every month under tight deadlines. Digitally retouched other artists' illustrations to emulate their style, sourced visual assets and even wrote a few articles. Continued working with the company as a freelance illustrator from 1997-2012.

Graphics production, design and illustration for market-leading t-shirt manufacturer and distributor. Developed graphics and concepts for licensed properties including Looney Tunes, Nickelodeon, MTV, The World Wrestling Federation, Budweiser, professional sports teams and headlining musical acts as well as graphics production (color separation) for silkscreen printing and application. Developed and executed original designs for retail markets. Continued to create designs on a freelance basis for several years - many of my t-shirt designs have since become prized vintage collectibles.
