"As the Group's Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Coronavirus Disease vaccine operations, he spearheaded development of an innovative, online scheduling and workflow management tool that enabled vaccination of twenty seven thousand patients, the second most in the Air Force. Provided outstanding leadership for twenty-eight thousand enrolled patients and 594 thousand eligible beneficiaries, supporting three Wings across the National Capital Region in Coronavirus Disease 2019 vaccination efforts. Additionally, Sergeant Dancz managed a team of 314 volunteers in successfully running daily Coronavirus Disease vaccine operations for over six months. Furthermore, he championed electronic integration of the Defense Health Agency’s informed consent document, saving over 880 manhours and increasing patient throughput by over twenty-five percent. Moreover, Sergeant Dancz developed and implemented critical patient safety innovations which proved key to achieving zero serious vaccine safety events. Finally, his efforts were critical to pushing Coronavirus Disease 2019 vaccination rates for three Wings and 10,200 Air Force members to more than sixty percent, significantly contributing to pandemic recovery and mission success."
