I managed the legal strategy, business transactions, and regulatory affairs of PowerWorks, which operates 117MW of wind energy facilities. In my time at PowerWorks, we developed a 22MW wind farm from inception to full operation, including origination and negotiation of a power purchase agreement, interconnection rights, permitting, land procurement, equipment supply, and construction oversight. In addition, I was directly involved on environmental issues with local, state, and federal governments for existing projects, including:o Programmatic Habitat Conservation Plan for an operating wind farm o Corporate compliance with CEQA and NEPA for existing and planned wind farmso Engaged in public permitting process to ensure existing wind farms meet modern environmental standards, with heavy focus on the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, and the Endangered Species Act

Led a team of contract analysts tasked with ensuring compliance with commercial agreements, establishing performance goals and communicating foreseeable risks to management.

Planned and implemented an air-quality compliance program based on changes in California law relating to the permitting and use of portable equipment used in the operation and maintenance of electrical facilities.
