I am a former sociology student. I majored in the subject both on an undergraduate and graduate level. I received a Bachelor of Arts at Trent University and a Master of Arts at the University of Windsor. During my time at university, I also pursued subjects in writing, philosophy and criminology. I enjoy sociology immensely, especially what it teaches me about people and about the world. I hope to apply my knowledge of sociology to any career I pursue.I have worked previously as a Content Writer for Smashing Pixels Inc. and a Quality Assurance Proofreader for TC Transcontinental. I am always looking for opportunities to further build and expand my skills as a writer, proofreader and editor. What I love about writing and editing is that they allow me to be analytical and precise, but also creative. There are very few outlets that satisfy both sides of my brain and personality like writing and editing do. My volunteer experience includes working for Aspire as a tutor for the city of Mississauga. I have also assisted the City of Mississauga through helping to set up events. During my time at school, I worked for the school journal to help distribute information. I was also part of a group working to reduce the amount of litter in the school. At university, I worked with fellow students in a group called Windsor Animal Allies.
