After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth I spent the first six years of my career as an Agency Recruiter. Eventually I turned from the Dark Side and was taught the ways of corporate Talent Acquisition. Having learned how to use my powers for good, I spent a couple years helping teams of engineers improve tools like MATLAB and Simulink which Accelerate the Pace of Engineering and Science. After joining iRobot I spent first year and a half helping the organization hire top Software, Cloud, Mobile, and IoT talent so that we can build the next generation of connected products that empower people to do more. Eighteen months later, I transitioned to a HR Business Partner role where I focused on people strategy for our Global Marketing, Product Management, Regional Sales & Marketing, and Operations & Supply Chain for North America, EMEA, and APAC. After working as an HRBP for a couple years, I shifted to focus on supporting our Workday HRIS implementation in Recruiting, Talent, & Performance. In early 2020, I decided to return to a Global HR Business Partner role and joined Allegro Microsystems where I am focusing on people strategy for G&A, Sales, Marketing and Operations. Having joined mid-pandemic, the latest chapter in my career has brought new challenges of building relationships, supporting employees and the business remotely. Over the last couple of years this role has expanded in scope, and I now lead a team responsible for recruiting, HR administration and a general HR manager in Asia. IAs a father, husband, brother, and son I spend much of my time outside work with family and friends but still manage to find time to enjoy the outdoors, ride motorcycles, restore antique Jeeps, study macroeconomics, take on home renovation projects and have a passion for gardening and learning about permaculture and sustainable living.
