I started and built the custom suiting program for Taylor Stitch. I measured and tailored over 500 suits for all shapes, sizes, and demographics in the Bay area, and grew the business by over 100% in one year's time. I work exclusively with one of the oldest custom suiting factories left in the US. I ensured that the finished product was incredibly detail-oriented and well-tailored.

Having been incredibly curious about how a suit was constructed and taken apart for alteration, I became obsessed with the art of tailoring. I met Jeff Loring, the owner of Stitch It and Co while working for J. Crew in Nashville. He graciously allowed me to jump on board with him and dig deeply quickly to learn the necessary tools of the trade to be a respected tailor.Following Jeff's lead, I was able to get behind the sewing machine every day, and while struggling quite a bit at first, was able to eventually navigate industrial-level equipment and truly learn about the level of craftsmanship it takes to build a quality garment. Soon after joining, we began exploring the custom suiting world, in which I learned how to measure clients and communicate the language of tailoring to them in a way that was current and applicable to each and every need.This position was truly the bridge between my background as a retail professional and my desire to become a tailor.

Managed a small team of employees focused on driving the menswear business in Nashville. We ramped up the region's focus on suiting. Learned how to manage a team and how to mark suits for basic alterations.

Dressed and styled discerning clientele and unique individuals (incl. Grammy-nominated musicians) for major events and appearances. Learned how to cultivate and build community around menswear.
