In this position, I played an active role in overseeing the operations of the province's largest and most complex transit systems. My main focus was on managing multi-million dollar annual contracts to minimize risks, deliver value to taxpayers, and promote continuous improvement. I collaborated with our contracted operating partners to enhance operational excellence, utilizing both traditional contract management methods and innovative approaches. Additionally, I successfully negotiated contract extensions, amendments, rate renewals, and operator budgets in partnership with our internal finance team. Furthermore, I established and ensured adherence to service specifications that had been previously negotiated with local government partners.
