• Part of engineering team responsible for overseeing $4.5 Million expansion to manufacturing facility. • Led a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, develop, perform cost analysis, and build new tools to facilitate improvements on a $700K improvement project.• Teamed with other engineers using Lean/Six Sigma to develop new processes, minimize operating costs, and optimize production of automotive parts.• Collaborated with other departments to solve problems with existing tools and flows, implement new methods, and draft standard operating procedures.• Created designs that met cost restrictions using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Submitted prototypes for peer and customer review, gave formal presentations to management, and was responsible for build and installation of new tools and processes.• Standardized and organized tooling die to optimize workflow.• Analyzed product that failed to meet specifications, presented options and solutions, then implemented improvements to processes to ensure future success, saving the company over $100K.
