Developed website and marketing plan for holiday lighting company. Used local and regional e-commerce sites to promote business. Email campaigns, neighborhood signage, door-to-door postcards, and referral based customer relations management were all key factors in the first years success. Clients received full service holiday lighting decorating from design estimates, installation, 24-hour fix or replacement guarantee, removal and storage of the lights until the following season.

Absolute Events provides full service event production and staffing for a wide range of clientele. Events range from weddings, private house parties, corporate events, film festivals, concerts and grand openings to fundraisers and destination management. We handle implementation of all event details from start to finish. We have managed events with up to 70 staff; handling all the contract negotiations, accounting, logistics, marketing. As part of our service to the community, we supported the following charitable events: the Black & Blue Ball for Muscular Dystrophy, Axxess SB for local schools and SB Film Festival Young Arts Forum.Absolute Events has further evolved into broader business development consulting, servicing an array of clientele: Boulder Christmas Lights, Parts On Demand, Bradford Heap Hospitality, Robbins Research International, Mission Beach Burger Company.

Streamlined Bradford’s two restaurants Salt & Colterra and created income outside their current business parameters; updated their social media programs, websites, and email campaigns. We developed and expanded Colterra’s patio almost doubling the square footage for available service outside; designed with the intention of using the restaurant as a venue for private events and catering, thereby increasing the top line revenue as well as the bottom line profit. We created one of the best ‘happy hour’ programs anywhere in Boulder County along with revamping their cocktail systems. We launched Bradford Heap Catering, LLC August 1st and ran 14 successful events before finishing the contract.

I was brought in to consult for the Tony Robbins Production Department; helped execute Leadership Academy in La Jolla with Robyn Dinnhaupt as a special liaison; managed every aspect of Unleash the Power Within event scheduled in New York, 2010 with over 4,200 attendants. This included arranging venue, hotel, transportation, AV needs, product sales, IT, crew, training needs, speaker contracts, event diagrams, and green room requirements. Stayed under their budgeting goals and exceeded every target outcome for the event.

fully responsible for opening and designing the restaurant; supervised every aspect of the location remodel from start to finish, including hiring and drawing up plans for the general contractors to follow; created the menu and found corresponding vendors to order from; established, wrote and produced company procedures, marketing collateral and employee manuals, and was responsible for accounting and budgeting. We surpassed the current health standards, opened a head of schedule and under budget. The goal of the restaurant group was to expand to five restaurants within five years.

As General Manager, I was responsible for overseeing every internal and external aspect of the restaurant. Responsibilities included hiring, training, and the day-to-day management of staff. I acted as the food and beverage manager and was accountable for hitting sales targets (which we consistently exceeded). I oversaw health inspections and ensured our restaurant was in compliance at all times. In addition to managing the restaurant, I created ads and marketing campaigns; developed food and drink menus; managed payroll and reviewed sales reports to ensure our cost ratio was as low as possible.

I was in charge of managing the service staff and coordinating event set up and break down. I serviced a variety of events ranging from anniversaries and weddings to large corporate events and tournaments. I managed all food/beverage ordering and was in charge of inventory and quality control. I was responsible for all bar staff training and performance.

Since joining the team at the Hilton I was there `go to' bartender. I acquired a large knowledge of martini andwine labels; serving drinks in one of Santa Barbara's top steakhouses, Rodney's. I also managed/bartended inthe main bar, Barra Los Arcos. Running the banquet bartending department: keeping inventory, stockingportable bars for events, managing money boxes and double checking that sales match amount of liquor poured.

Sharkeez had a wide variety specialty, martini and margarita recipes; with creative ways of garnishing drinks.Giving the customer a consistent product was very important to me in adding to the drink presentation andsupporting the Sharkeez theme. I built a large clientele and prided myself on remembering customers' namesand occupations.
