As the Vice President of Marketing for Model UN, I played a role in the club's operations and growth. I was involved in the club's creation post-Covid when all clubs shut down. I took the initiative to recruit dedicated members who shared the club's passion for international relations and diplomacy. My responsibilities included creating and designing engaging Instagram posts and stories to increase our online presence and attract new members. I ensured effective communication within the executive team and our members, ensuring a collaborative environment that was key to our success. Attending weekly meetings was a crucial part of my role, allowing me to stay updated on our progress, address any issues promptly, and strategize for future initiatives.

As a Clothing Brand Entrepreneur, I led the design and development of unique apparel, tailoring to diverse customer tastes. I launched and managed an appealing Shopify website, optimizing the customer journey and sales processes. Through market research, I gained insights into customer preferences, fashion trends, and competitor activities.

Being a member of the Business SHSM, I am immersed in a specialized program designed to equip me with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the dynamic world of business. The program provides a strong foundation in business fundamentals such as finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and management, while also offering opportunities for experiential learning through co-op placements, industry certifications, and competitions.

I started working at Esource Parts as an employee after doing my co-op placement for 5 months. My role involves managing inventory, processing orders, and tracking shipments while assisting customers with finding and purchasing electronic components and parts. I also work with the team to support the overall operations of the company. This experience has helped me develop strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

I was placed at this company for my co-op term. Starting my co-op placement at this company, I was able to enhance my intrapersonal skills such as communication, time management, initiative, problem-solving, and more. In addition, I was taught many useful skills that are helpful to the workforce such as how to provide excellent customer service, order fulfillment, order picking & packing, and back-end operations.

As the Executive Director of Communications, I contributed in the organization of a successful fundraising event for the club. In addition, throughout my experience, I ensured to display effective communication with members at all levels using Twitter, Instagram, and email.
