I went on to be part of Lenovo's Global Sourcing Hub, the "SMART Team". I was handling roles mainly in APAC, focusing on either critical or hard-to-close positions that require niche skills in challenging markets. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to:- Proactive sourcing of candidates through various channels and methods (LinkedIn Recruiter, x-ray search, etc.).- Screening candidates to obtain more information or market insights.- Preparing data and analytics from various sources (LinkedIn Talent Insights, TalentNeuron, etc.) to provide tangible market insights to the business.- Market mapping to understand competitor hiring and trends.- Liaising with both Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand who their perfect candidate would be.- Coming up with sourcing strategies to pinpoint the best ways to find the perfect candidate.- Building relationships with candidates to keep them warm and pipelines healthy.

I was originally hired as a contract staff (6-month contract) to support the Central Asia Pacific Talent Acquisition team. After 3 months, I was offered a permanent position within Lenovo's CAP TA Team due to my versatility and adaptability.
