Responsible for the following:• Earthwork control-testing and monitoring the placement of structural fill in building pads, roadway construction and backfilling operations for structural backfill and utility trench backfill.• Conducting in-place density testing of utility repair trenches. • Performing both nuclear and sand cone compaction testing, along with rock correction calculations per ARIZ and ADOT methods.• Asphalt Testing-monitor and test the placement of asphalt for QA/QC per plans and specifications• Special inspection of reinforced concrete structures-Inspection of reinforcing placement per plans and specifications for post-tensioned structures, caissons, and conventional slab and foundation systems. Testing of concrete on-site, observation of chemical anchor placement, and quality control and /or investigatory inspections (i.e. Pachometer, rebound hammer, floor level surveys, drainage inspections)• Special inspection of structural masonry-Inspection of reinforcement placement per plans and specifications for masonry constructed structures. On-site testing of mortar, grout prisms, and block prisms.• Special Inspection of intumescent coating associated with spray foam insulation with respect to exposed foam in attics and crawl spaces.
