At Co-Op Tool, I take a collaborative approach to problem solving. YOU know more about YOUR process and machining YOUR parts than anyone else. I know about the workholding. Together, we will achieve success.I interned on a machine shop floor while going to school at IUPUI. After that I moved in the company to designing custom workholding for a few years. Then, I transitioned to selling custom workholding in late 2017. I was still doing design work where I could find the time through 2019. I designed several successful chucks, collets, and fixtures that helped my customers improve their production, reduce scrap, and launch new challenging part pieces.Do you run high volume CNC production?- I work closely with you to optimize your production setup for maximum throughput and minimal scrap. I help engineers in all groups of manufacturing, especially: Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers Aerospace Heavy EquipmentDo you have issues with your current workholding?- I offer troubleshooting, rebuild, reverse engineering, and spare parts for ALL workholding devices, regardless of where it came from. Some of my customers have trouble getting the support they need from their original supplier, but they can’t justify buying entirely new systems. I can help. Are you launching a new product but don’t know where to start with your process?- I’m happy to offer feedback from the chucking or fixturing perspective. Are you selling a turnkey machine?- I work well with machine distributors; whether you are a highly technical machine salesperson that wants to be heavily involved in the design and build of the chucks and fixtures, or if you’d rather hand me a part print and forget it so you can focus elsewhere.Do you enjoy cutting edge Virtual Reality technology?- Come to Co-Op Tool and see the VR setup in the conference room. You can take your workpiece from one machine and walk it to the other side of the room to load it in another machine. You can disassemble your virtual chuck or fixture right on the conference room table before you have it physically in hand.I highly recommend you stop by to see the Co-Op facility:1517 Coining DrToledo, OH 43612Call me to let me know when you’re coming:Cell: 317-828-5110Email me your part prints:ryan.strohm@co-op-tool.com
