I developed sales training initiatives to transform a transactional sales organization into a solution-selling one, including technical qualification training that enabled sales teams to handle initial customer calls. This initiative resulted in a 15% reduction in Sales Engineering support for initial customer calls, allowing SEs to focus on higher-probability opportunities.I created a Sales Engineering impact tracking model in Salesforce to measure the impact of key SE activities and their engagement with Account Executives, providing sales leadership with visibility into SE engagement and improving opportunity-to-win percentages when key SE activities (demos, deep dives, etc.) were present. I standardized and continuously improved a demo approach for SEs and AEs around our complex products and developed a real-time implementation tracker for sales leadership to monitor sold engagements in the deployment process, highlighting at-risk deployments for additional AE/SE attention.Personally managing the top 5 customer technical relationships with complex products, I was a key influencer on the product roadmap, working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Development to define product vision and enhancements.
