After many years of going in and out of education, I began enjoying playing video games and technology through this hobby. As a teenager with very limited resources, I used my computer to learn different basic skills online through YouTube. Firstly it was rebuilding my personal computer, which was a great achievement for me as a young man with no prior experience for the machine to boot up with no issues.Shortly after, I attended JBC Computers Ltd for a Level 3 Diploma which engaged my interest within networking. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted to attend university. However, I believe I missed many basic fundamentals within information technology at JBC Computers Ltd, and attended Loughborough College for a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Information and Technology. Unfortunately due to my personal life, I did not complete my studies at Loughborough College. I still strived to work in the IT world, so I tried calling Coventry University to see if there were any foundation courses that would allow me to join in a last chance attempt. They accepted me in their foundation course at CU College, this gave me hope, and after a year of completing the course I was accepted in the Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security BSc course.During my time at Coventry University, I had the opportunity to develop my skills and knowledge in this exciting field. I worked on various projects and gained experience in threat analysis, incident response, and network security. Through my coursework and projects, I have acquired a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. My strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ability to work under pressure make me a valuable asset to any cybersecurity team. I would like to improve my skillset to perform the best I can within a workplace environment, and I will be attending training towards certifications to showcase this. I am always keen to improve my skillset and rise to perform well in any setting. In the short future, I would like to continue a blog based around cyber security to improve my note taking and other interests within cyber security and IoT.I am now seeking a challenging role in cybersecurity where I can apply my skills and contribute to the security of data, personal information, and devices.
