As the Vice President, I process and direct all Accounting, Information Technologies, Marketing and Human Resource activities of Live Oak Construction Supply, Inc. in such a manner as to ensure financial assets of the company are protected and profit goals are achieved.

I was heavily involved in UGA HERO, the largest student run philanthropy is the Southeast. As a member of the executive board for two years, I was dedicated to raising money for children in Georgia infected with, or affected by, HIV/AIDS.

•Serve as a Director of the largest organization on UGA’s campus and the largest student run philanthropy in the Southeast, raising over $1,000,000 in only six years •Work together with five other Directors in order to further UGA HEROs mission and reach our monetary goals•Overlook the activities of over 2,000 student members and encourage all of them to perform at their full potential •Manage five members of the UGA HEROs 2009 Executive Council•Direct the Alumni Relations Committee Chair to gain and maintain the support of over 100 UGA HERO Alumni through fundraising events geared towards Alumni only•Direct the High School Relations Committee Chair to gain and maintain the support of over 15 Georgia High Schools through separate fundraising campaigns at each high school•Direct the Corporate Relations Committee Chair to gain the support of Athens and Atlanta areas business, as well as maintain the support of over 25 Athens area businesses, by acquiring sponsorships for HERO events•Direct the In-Kind Donations Committee Chair to acquire donations, including food, venues, prizes, etc., for all HERO events in order to keep our operating costs low•Direct the Community Relations Chair to utilize our Board of Advisors, 8 Athens-area business professionals, in an effective manner in order to gain advise on any organizational-wide problems

•Led a team of 20 committee members in fulfilling their fundraising goal of $500•Guided committee members in planning fundraising and awareness events to further the mission of UGA HEROs•Worked as a team member on the Executive Board in order to come up with new ideas to reach the fundraising goal and continue growing the organization
