Profile bio

About Ryan Fullmer

I have a passion for designing and delivering collaborative workshops in an Agile environment. I love helping leaders and teams get clear on what they want to achieve and develop a strategy to move forward.I was first introduced to Agile in 2005 by Mike Beedle. I had the good fortune to bring him and his team in on my state agency project. He taught me about the Agile principles and the Scrum process over lunches and dinners. I watched him and his team use Scrum to deliver the solution for our project. After a few months, the project was complete, and it was a success. I had seen enough to know that I didn’t want to run another traditional project again. In 2006, I got my chance. I took on the role of project manager for a $30 M, complex, system replacement project for the same State Agency. I got buy in from leaders to take an Agile approach. I implemented Scrum for the project and the Scrum teams got to work. When the project was complete, the teams had delivered much more than we had could have predicted. Beyond what we delivered, we achieved important outcomes. Clients were getting better services and results. Staff were more productive with greater satisfaction and engagement. I have not looked back since! At Conduo, our focus is working with Agile leaders to apply Outcome-Driven Planning. We developed this approach after seeing the value of the Mobius Innovation Framework (Mobius Loop), created by Gabrielle Benefield. Our approach leverages collaborative workshops to improve planning at every level of the organization; strategic planning, project management, product management and team-level planning.1 - Define the problem to solve, who it is for and how you will measure outcomes2 - Identify options for solving the problem3 - Analyze options4 - Decide what to do (develop a strategy)5 - Deliver incrementally, validate results, learn, and make pivots to stay on track with your outcomes

Listed skills include Agile Methodologies, Agile Project Management, Scrum, Program Management, and 25 others.
