Where Does My Passion Come From To Help Others In Our Accounting/Finance Profession?Simple….I was tired of getting calls and emails from “headhunters” who never spent a day working in our profession, I always had a passion for helping others, and saw a need for accounting/finance professionals in the role I am today helping others in our profession in their career advancement search and/or hiring needs with the right intent and focus.TIMELINE: Development of Expertise In Helping Others In Our Profession 2007 – 2011: Made the transition to utilize my 10 years of direct experiences in both Big 4 public accounting and corporate accounting to help others in our profession by joining a start-up staffing agency. Immersed myself to learn the industry.2011 – 2018: Co-founded and launched a staffing agency to take those industry lessons learned and learn how to build a business from the ground up. True to my nature of helping others, I partnered with a stay at home dad who was out of the workforce for several years as my co-founder helping him back in to the workforce and we built the staffing agency together. In the Fall 2018, I sold the staffing agency to go next level to build a professional services firm to better service accounting/finance professionals on a level that a staffing agency cannot do.2019: Developed and launched a professional services firm Apogee Resources Group, LLC by building a business model based on the experiences, lessons learned, and expertise developed through 12+ years of experience in the accounting/finance staffing industry.
