Ryan serves on the Board of Trustees for Four Winds Westward Ho, a 501(c) 3 and ACA accredited camp on Orcas Island, WA. As a former camper and counselor with cherished memories of his own experience at camp, Ryan is grateful to be giving back to the camp through his service on the Board, as well as the Development and Scholarship Committees.

Ryan previously led as President the members of the scrap recycling's trade association (ISRI) in Alaska, British Columbia, Oregon and Washington. In this role, he also represented the interests of his constituency on the National Board of ISRI. Ryan has served multiple terms on the PNW Chapter Board since 2014.

Ryan has been a leader within the Seattle Chapter of YPO, serving as the Chapter Membership Chair, as well as Forum Moderator.
