Program Management, Engineering Manager: Manage the day-to-day activities and operations of the stakeholder’s Engineering & O&M Branch. Assigned to a contract in Northern Virginia to support and manage the company’s Network Engineering Group to support a large tier 3 customer data center. Led a team of engineers designing, implementing, supporting & documenting Extranet and LAN networks using switches, encryptors, firewalls and load balancers.- Lead multi-team client project deliverables in order to help clients improve key business functions including a study on Big Data for the client and a specialized cross network delivery solution - Managed project schedule and tasks, assist with the creation of budgetary inputs, procurement, and documentation in order to maintain technical architecture deployment - Implemented and supported operability and availability for six different data center/LAN networks- Planned, built, tested, and deployed IT infrastructure design to assist clients in maximizing operational efficiency- Utilized network and server applications for O&M reporting/support including: CiscoWorks, TACACS+, What’sUp Gold, Tripwire, PRTG, ANM, BMC Proactive and Remedy, Cisco NAM and DCNM- COMSEC custodian responsible for KG TACLANE encryptors; includes creating technical documents and SOPs for the installation of encryptors and COMSEC material. Maintain proper documentation for the receipt, transfer, and destruction of crypto keys and equipment- Installed, configured, and maintained network devices to including Cisco NX-OS, Catalyst, Juniper, Marconi, and Dell- Analyzed packet data using packet capture and forensics applications- Responded to security vulnerability scans and network assessments- Designed IP allocation landscape for new client network enclave- Assisted with training of tier 1.5 agents, new network team members, and held information sessions for project familiarization on various networking fundamentals

As a member of the iSchool staff, guided the use of experiential and hands-on network technology across all levels of school curriculum, collaborated with faculty for the integration of network technology-instruction, as well as monitored and provided solutions for network lab resource efficiency and secure access.

Responsible for maintaining network lab operations, availability, security, hardware and software; constructed a new campus networking LAN, guiding the design and integration of multiple vendor equipment, and taught networking principles and LAN technologies to students and faculty.
