Experienced finance professional driven by curiosity and the need to find the simple solution to complex problems. Curiosity has led me around the world from professional services to investment banking, oil & gas and more recently into the Bio-tech space. I started my career and gained my Chartered Accountant qualification in Big 4 audit. In industry I have held a variety of controller and management positions. throughout these roles I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in: - External audits - Fraud investigations- Due diligence and Company acquisitions - Data migrations and system implementations- Project management (Prince2 practitioner)- Off-shoring and migration of processes and personnel - Data modelling, analysis and forecasting - Company transformations- Process improvement- Management accountingI’ve also gained experience in a variety of reporting regimes including NZ IFRS, UK IFRS & GAAP, US GAAP, US Federal and SEC banking regulations, European banking regulations and BEPS compliance. Outside of work I spend my time chasing after my three young kids and whenever possible travelling and dining out.
