The Community Engagement Director is a key leader within Right Moves For Youth and plays a critical role in our efforts to expand the impact of our organization within our community, regarding the educational and social/emotional well-being of youth. Primary responsibilities include: * Representing the organization in the community and being a conduit of relationship and resource. * Actively building mutually beneficial partnerships to address community needs and further the educational and emotional health objectives of RMFY. * Identifying areas of shared vision with key partners and mobilizing resources needed to carry out RMFY community initiatives. * Serving on RMFY’s equity team.* Managing community outreach and messaging, particularly through the website and social media marketing.All responsibilities are carried out in four categories:* Community engagement*Organizational leadership* Partnership development* Marketing

Program Operational Administration1. Design, implement and manage age-appropriate programming for RMFY program participants including academic support, enrichment services, and group facilitation.2. Work in tandem with CMS leadership to determine program sites and effective strategies for program delivery3. Volunteer coordination including processing of applications, monitoring placements and facilitating training4. Monitor program budget to ensure efficient delivery of program activitiesDevelopment of Program Team1. Develop and implement a system to evaluate the skill, experience and professional development needs of program staff2. Work with staff to develop objective performance measurements across all sites to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery3. Schedule and monitor program staff development activities including program consultation and team meetings4. Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of individual and organizational performance standardsResearch & Evaluation1. Participate in conversations with RMFY staff, Board members and other key stakeholders to determine appropriate metrics and benchmarks for organizational success2. Oversee the use of evaluation as a tool in accomplishing program objectives3. Create systems for using data to provide ongoing feedback and support to staff for the improvement of program practicesMonitoring of Program Goals and Outcomes1. Monitor yearly programmatic goals2. Manage and oversee the programming efforts of a non-profit dropout prevention agency in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system. Responsible for facilitating the operation of its middle/high school-based program sites. Develop and facilitate high impact programming for students including but not limited to: curriculum instruction, group facilitation and support. Develop and maintain positive relationships with school administration, School system personnel and volunteers to promote partnerships for maximum community impact. Duties also include managing all aspects of social media and online presence for the betterment of the agency's functions.A. Direct Program Service Delivery 1. Serve as the primary liaison between RMFY and assigned school-based sites, working to assess student/school needs, monitor progress toward established goals and successfully deal with obstacles to group and student success 2. Facilitate weekly student group meetings at assigned school-based sites 3. Be a positive and productive role model for students and volunteer co-facilitators 4. Maintain a strong working relationship with volunteer co-facilitators 5. Have a working knowledge of the curriculum and positively promote the curriculum to the student participants 6. Facilitate discussions and activities corresponding with the curriculum, build community and challenge students to get the most from their experience during group sessions 7. Address minor disciplinary problems as needed with individual students and bring larger problems to the attention of CMS staff/administration B. Program Site Management 1. Monitor the progress of all programsites, troubleshooting and resolving any obstacles to group facilitation 2. Participate and provide input during agency planning and evaluation processes 3. Participate in RMFY marketing/development efforts as necessary 4. Represent agency with external partners as necessary
