I began to take on more complicated data requests, including building reports that combined various metrics into comprehensive reports. I also created a simple model using insurance sales data that categorized agents by their typical insureds' behavior, which was used for both monitoring activity and pricing decisions.In addition to my current rate revision responsibilities, I performed a few rate revisions of ever increasing complexity. For example, as the analyst for the state of WA when the emergency order was issued by Insurance Commissioner Kreidler to remove credit from all PPA insurance programs. I was responsible for figuring out how to effectively remove credit from our PPA rating algorithms and to re-set the base rates properly.
