About Ryan Hansen

When I was 15 years old, I had the honor of meeting my first true mentor. He was a bitter old-man who introduced me to the packaging and print industry. He taught me that hard work, determination, and a strong attention to detail, would always yield the best results. Sixteen years later, packaging on shelves across the globe, and a strong determination to continuously improve, I finally understood what he was trying to teach me. Thank you Mr. Cook.My name is Ryan Hansen and I’ve worked in the packaging industry for the last 10 years. From the first time I exposed a screen, to facilitating a class of industry professionals, I was hooked.I currently work for TAPP Label as the Director of Prepress. I facilitate and provide direction to our multiple North American prepress facilities. We specialize in the wine and spirit market providing complex labels to many prestigious customers.When I’m not on the job, you’ll find me trail running around the Bay Area or backpacking the Ventana Wilderness. I also brew beer whenever possible with my semi-automatic 25 gallon brewing system (home built), work on home servers, and tinker with random hardware and software.If you’re interested in grabbing a cup of coffee, or going for a quick hike (I know some amazing places!), send me an email (ryanjhansen@me.com).
