I teach English to employees of the Chinese petrochemical company, Hengyi. I also tutor students privately in all fields and levels of English. I successfully completed my English doctorate in July 2019, with my thesis focusing on nihilism in literature. My first novel, titled The Sydney Harbour Suicides, was longlisted for the 2016 Bridport Prize for a debut novel.
