We do not accept advertising, but do allow individuals to present papers, studies, products and testimonials to others in the group. But if anyone can do it, Hari Budha Magar will. Hari lost his legs in Afghanistan while serving with the Royal Gurkha Rifles. He has assembled a team of Special Forces and U.S. Marine veterans, all deeply experienced in high altitude climbing. This group intends to show the world that any obstacle can be overcome when you put your mind to it. In fact, this climb is for everyone who has faced, and overcome obstacles in their lives. The BiOM Ankle System begins the transition from prosthetics to bionics with an ankle foot system that emulates muscles and tendons to provide power assist mobility for people with amputations. In 2016 the company changed its name to BionX

Hixenbaugh returned to Ossur as part of the team to turn declining sales and market share in Ossur Americas Bracing and Supports business. After re-structuring how products were organized and assigned for sales, along with new sales strategies, sales increased 11%, almost double the 6% achieved prior year.

Helped to revitalize the 25-year old brand with numerous sales and marketing initiatives involving re-positioning, channel programs, alliances, new product launch disciplines, training programs and trade show presentations.

Worked with the Washington Health Foundation to establish and launch one of the country's first State Insurance Exchanges. Worked on team to develop the Healthiest State in the Nation Campaign, including the Governor’s Challenge. Established a community outreach program in every county in Washington to garner support. Worked with Governor’s Office to establish the ‘Challenge’. Created print, TV, video, posters, mail and web materials. Once we got the Governor involved, it was really fun!

Worked with major Icelandic prosthetic company, in developing an orthopedic division with their acquisition of Generation II. Implemented brand strategy to encompass new division. Responsible for adapting all communications to Ossur standards. Developed orthopedic colalteral material and trade show strategy. Established sales force training standards and led quarterly multi-day sales force training program.
