I've lead a Site Reliability team in Apple's Internet Software & Services organization for the past five years. I have a breadth of experience in operating systems and industry standard software and hardware. I excel in automating processes, securing infrastructure, managing network storage, creating efficiency, documentation and creating tools to minimize downtime. In my tenure at Apple, I've played key roles in the initial launch of iCloud, the iCloud content backing store for photos and documents, internal support tools and iWork for iCloud. Focus areas during this time included automating server provisioning, configuration management and data store configuration. I've been responsible for purchasing millions of dollars of server infrastructure. At Apple, I've been responsible for all aspects of server infrastructure including; maintaining uniform configuration management and change management of thousands of machines, hardware maintenance and upgrades, load balancer configuration and management, application availability assurance and monitoring, performance data analysis and trending, and documentation.
