I am a highly-committed and engaging student, and I am interested in exploring the intersectionality between race and health outcomes as well as upstreamism in healthcare with a focus on public health pathways to enact change.I work with clubs on campus to promote preventative health and seek to educate populations to increase health equity in underserved and minority communities. I also worked with the Orange County Health Care Agency to produce a resource guide for low-income and under-insured college students through researching and contacting various mental health clinics across Orange County.I also spend my time working with Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) activism groups and film documentaries regarding the AAPI community to highlight health disparities and the need for social change through interviewing subjects and connecting their stories to broader themes across our community.
