Manage day to day operations at a photographic retail store. Responsibilities include hiring and training, staff scheduling, store opening/closing procedures, inventory management, payroll, and more. In 2012 I was chosen to manage our first ever store in the Cincinnati area. Working closely with the company president, I assisted with store design and layout, staff recruitment, delivery of goods, sales planning and forecasting, and other business aspects to ensure the operation was a success. Within our first year of being open, we have achieved the rank of second highest net sales in the company while maintaining the highest sales/employee ratio in the company.Some personal accomplishments during my 6 years at Dodd Camera include:- Became third highest grossing salesperson in Dayton region within first year of employment- Became store manager after two successful years in sales- Implemented successful sensor cleaning service in Dayton area, and now Cincinnati as well- Revised class curriculum to double photography class sales in Fairborn in 2011- Forecasted sales in excess of $500K for 2013- Gained working knowledge of professional imaging while helping manage Cincinnati rental department- Attended numerous trade shows and assisted our company with purchasing decisions- Experience working many large sales events while demonstrating proficiency in selling volumes of merchandise while controlling large crowds of people- Always upheld company value of provide the best customer experience possible
