Datum is a venture-backed B2B SaaS platform that automates the procurement process of precision CNC Machined parts by matching a components geometry, size, and material to suppliers with optimal equipment and skillset.Datum also offers supply chain as a service solutions through the Managed Services team, to supplement or completely outsource customers' procurement operations.

- Led and mentored a team of 9 buyers supporting indirect procurement- Reviewed and triaged 200+ requests per day across a wide range of commodities including industrial supplies/equipment, machinery, machine maintenance parts/services, raw materials, EEE components, test equipment, IT hardware/software, and more- Identified, evaluated, and onboarded dozens of new suppliers across various commodities- Helped to establish new purchasing policies and controls to improve spend transparency- Oversaw several major supplier accounts totaling $3MM+/month of spend, monitoring performance and ensuring internal customer satisfaction- Managed and audited $1MM+/month of Purchasing card spend- Supported development of "punchout" system connecting internal users to supplier e-commerce sites, overseeing and auditing usage, reviewing feedback, and providing recommendations for improvement- Collaborated with Accounts Payable and Receiving to identify process issues that cause invoice problems- Investigated and resolved thousands of blocked invoices across hundreds of suppliers

- Reviewed sales requisitions and generated purchase orders, saving costs through smart sourcing- Identified purchase opportunities based on historical sales data to improve availability and profit margins of high-demand parts- Managed key supplier relationships, boosting several that had been declining - Monitored multiple warehouse inventories across the country and retained optimum stock levels for hundreds of SKUs- Investigated and resolved dozens of weekly inventory and receiving issues reported by warehouses
