Following a down-sizing at Baxter International, I dedicated my time to professional development and community engagement. I actively pursued job opportunities and attended career-oriented conferences, such as the SAFe Summit, while completing trainings in areas like Generative AI for Project Management, SAFe Advanced Facilitator: Conflict and Collaboration, and Value Stream Mapping. Additionally, I organized and managed intermediate volleyball leagues, officiated high school sports, and took on part-time roles in retail and handyman services. I also continue to volunteer for and coordinate several charity events and hurricane recovery efforts, demonstrating my commitment to both personal growth and community involvement.

Before Baxter acquired Hillrom, I served as a Senior Program Director, holding responsibility for leading the definition and transformation of the company’s digital portfolio of projects, products, and platforms to Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Solution Trains. My multiple responsibilities resided across concurrent roles of business relationship director, senior program director, release train engineer, product manager, and scrum master. These empowered me to ensure objective and operational alignment. I led teams of architects, project managers, scrum masters, and product owners/managers of up to 60 direct and indirect staff and third-party vendor resources.My initial responsibilities focused on delivering the first release of three initial (MVP) of the new Hillrom.com for US Digital Marketing, Customer Care, and their internal customers. This required navigating across many product lines from acquired, but not fully integrated businesses. I supported change management efforts by driving ownership transition and assuring successful business adoption of operational responsibilities with the formation of several new ARTs, Solution Trains, and product support streams.Executed digital program and SAFe-based agile transformation effort in addition to multiple agile, hybrid, waterfall projects, ARTs, and Solution Trains across Hillrom's digital program portfolio and stakeholder groups to a DevSecOps, product-oriented approach, adding value to web, e-commerce, and customer portal channels. Planned and executed SOWs, change orders, and transition plans with product support, allowing for effective transitions. After Baxter’s acquisition of Hillrom, I was retained to oversee Baxter-Hillrom Integration efforts (predominantly in data migration and virtualization, and an initial strategic organizational transformation program) and tracked a budget of approximately $16M within the Data Management program portfolio.

Initially, held responsibility over Accessibility compliance litigation risk, including mobilizing and integrating the new globally distributed Accessibility Program team across multiple projects, ARTs, platform streams, standardizing quality assurance, automating accessibility testing practices, and establishing an Accessibility Community of Practice (CoP) throughout the US/CAN, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.Incremental responsibilities included leading efforts between IT and Finance to define capital budgets at more “business value-oriented” value stream levels across enterprise departments, enabling the reallocation of capital funds across strategically important product portfolios. Subsequently, I held responsibility for the company’s annual global IT budgeting (up to $440M), quarterly funding processes, and implementing controls and procedures with Finance to effectively report and track quarterly and approved off-cycle funding allocations from annually approved budgets. Reporting to executives across the Office of the CIO, oversaw all geographical regions, IT programs, portfolios, and product streams. These included Delivery, Mobile, Kiosk, Web, Media and Merchandising, Promotions, Drive-Thru, Digital Menus, R&D, Loyalty Programs, and Finance Transformations.

Responsibilities included building relationships and stakeholder alignment, service offerings, mentoring team members, and issue resolution. Served as Program Manager in client’s Program Management Offices residing over respective Gorilla staffed and other organizations’ projects.

Held responsibility for Digital Solution Assessments, Business Development Support, Implementation, and Practice Development responsibilities as Digital Program Manager / Delivery Lead for numerous clients within Accenture Interactive’s Digital Strategy and Ecommerce Platform Services delivery groups. The focus was meeting and aligning the client’s digital marketing strategy, commerce, multi-channel, content & campaign management, and marketing business needs supported by e-commerce and campaign management platforms. Oversaw capital budgets from $140K to $40M while leading a team of 40 direct reports, including developers, QA testers, business analysts, product managers/functional leads, application architects, and enterprise architects. The highly complex project scope included a budget of $7M and over 35 integrations with third-party SaaS solution providers.Appointed scrum master across two product streams: 1) B2C Product Support and 2) B2B MVP and subsequently drafted the SOW for a nine-month $2M B2C Product Support contract consisting of a planning phase (retroactively) and eight, one-month development and testing sprints. In parallel to my supervisory responsibilities on the B2C Product Support team, I drove the B2B MVP project from conception through performance testing, which was a $4M project overseeing 14 highly experienced team members. Tasked with increasing user adoption and governance for many new internal program management tools and ultimately implemented a training curriculum, iterative governance practices, simplified onboarding processes, and prioritized migration approaches for each team, resulting in over 30% higher productivity. Overall, this experience led to added management responsibilities across three of nine product streams and additional program management administration and coordination responsibilities within the client’s digital PMO, including conducting quarterly Program Increment Planning.
