John Lewis Partnership IT 2017 – 2018Senior Project Manager IT Functional Review ProgrammeLed organisational change as part of a multimillion pound restructure in the following areas:-Strategy and Architecture project created a single architecture function to ensure technology is optimised for the whole Partnership. -Office of the CIO - The newly formed Partnership IT function required the capability to plan and coordinate its activity strategically and in a structured way, enabling the Tech Group to make timely decisions based on informed insight. This strategic planning needed to include all aspects of the Operating Model: people, process and technology. It will ensure the right people and financial plans are in place and provide insight to track progress against these plans. -As part of the setting up Partnership IT Delivery, Group IT and John Lewis IT Partners merged to form Partnership IT, John Lewis & Group. John Lewis IT and Group IT no longer exist as separate entities. -Moved the end to end IT model for Group Customer Insight (GCI) into Partnership IT with an overall accountability for GCI IT to Partnership IT, with the components part being provided across IT in the same way as other Group Directorates from Business Engagement, Architecture, Delivery and Operations. In creating a critical mass of Partners, the aim is to build consistency, scale and agility, which will provide the Partnership with better business outcomes, and be achieved more productively. -Set up Partnership IT in the HR and financial systems to come under the John Lewis Partnership CIO to ensure clear and concise financial information is available to assist Partnership IT Leadership in its decision making and budgetary control.
