I’ve had the pleasure of representing Cisco at some of the most innovative brands for the past decade, and they are constantly pushing the envelope of what is possible with our technology. At times, Cisco has been challenged to meet the needs of those customers and provide solutions that will scale to the requirements in the project timeframes. Some of the best professional relationships I have made have been built when multiple teams from different domains have worked together to drive Cisco and the customer to a solution that benefits all parties involved. The Web Service Provider team at Cisco is constantly spanning multiple stakeholders at our accounts – from architecture, engineering and operations, to deployment, procurement, supply chain, and most importantly, the business decision makers. My proudest moments have been taking teams or situations that need rebuilding from the ground up. By focusing on requirements and building a culture intent on out-performing the competition, I’ve been extremely fortunate to change the customer perception of Cisco’s ability to deliver on their needs in crucial situations, restoring our brand as a leading provider of technology solutions. The nature of large accounts requires working together with multiple teams in order to drive customer satisfaction. No two accounts are the same, and there are many paths to success, but a collaborative and winning team culture is a solid foundation to build upon.
