10-year veteran of the solar industry! started at the very top in 2013 as in... up on the roof as an solar technician. Still on top of a house with as the R&R team lead. In 2015-2022 I taught others about PV(solar) in a continuing education photovoltaics course at Saint Louis Community College. Currently I work at StraightUp Solar. Before I was teaching the course I was working in solar doing installations/construction of solar arrays for both residential and commercial jobs. I've worked in the field for quite a few solar companies over the years and have lead crews doing both residential and commercial work since 2013. I love what I do and feel great helping people reduce their carbon footprints and save a ton money from going to an electric company. Before I worked in solar I put a small solar(PV) system on my own home back in 2007 so I've been interested in solar for a very long time. In 2013 I took my hobby into a career in the Renewable industry. Renewables are hiring and great career choices exist in lots of areas even Missouri.
