Implemented a literature model in MATLAB, then in parallel with C and OpenMP, that accurately matched the observed structural behavior of proteins in a photo-responsive surfactant solution. Demonstrated the model's predictive effectiveness with existing neutron spin echo spectroscopy data.Then, performed global multi-variable optimization over the soft-linker model's solution space by comparing various domain distributions and Kirkwood friction factor approximations to refine the model results to describe multiple experimental data, improving the existing implementation from 2-domain analysis to N-domain analysis.

Applied surface chemistry concepts with simulation packages to aid in spacecraft transport phenomena model development, specifically on temperature-programmed desorption. Wrote a program with Java/SQLite to more easily transfer data between lab work, proprietary simulation software, and COMSOL Multiphysics. The database was designed used for evaluating spacecraft materials.
