In my day-to-day role I work closely with the wider HTA team, global colleagues, and the cross-functional business supporting multiple therapy areas (Diabetes, Anti-infectives, and virology). Using my experience and strengths in evidence synthesis I am able to direct the commissioning, development, and project management of systematic review literature reviews (SR) and network meta-analysis (NMA) for the purposes of UK HTA submission/ support materials.Key aspects of role included:- Development of HTA submissions (1 NICE, 6 SMC, 4 AWMSG) - Engagement with all stages of HTA process: scoping through to submission, and final guidance- Project management of SR, and NMA for HTA purposes- Ownership of relationships and communications with UK HTA bodies and engagement with ABPI committees, and HTA experts- Co-ordination of MSD responses to NICE consultations (competitor appraisals, quality standards, NICE new medicine evidence summaries, clinical guidelines (most recently the NICE: Type 2 Diabetes Guideline), and input on disease area specific guidelines and evidence reviews- Development of research protocols and project management of retrospective database review studies- Support for MSD pipeline: provision of UK input on Phase III trial design, communication of developments to external stakeholders, evidence-based support for pricing and forecasting decisions
