Director, Office Of Regional Markets
Current1. Lead program, policy and planning efforts for the Office of Regional Markets (ORM), participate as a member of the management team in the Bureau of Energy Markets and Electric Infrastructure, serve as Bureau representative for internal and external customers in the area of regional markets, and work with the Bureau Director to coordinate special projects for ORM.2. Conduct the day-to-day managerial and policy development affairs of the ORM, including completion of short and long-term complex work products in the areas of regulatory economics, engineering, and policy. Lead ORM interaction with Commission delegate to the Organization of MISO States. 3. Represent Wisconsin perspective on RTO and RSC issues from an economics, engineering, or policy perspective, and participate as Wisconsin representative on assorted OMS or MISO groups as appropriate or assigned.4. Management and supervision of ORM staff in the areas of engineering, economics and policy development, including assigning work, monitoring performance, providing leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff, and overseeing the process of hiring staff. 5. Develop employee objectives, performance standards, performance evaluations, and individual development plans; and conduct employee evaluations.
