This involved designing engaging educational activities, conducting hands-on experiments, and sharing my enthusiasm for these subjects. Together with Duke students and professors, we aimed to ignite a passion for science and technology among our middle school mentees. But it wasn't just about equations, experiments, and scientific discoveries. I understood that middle school is a critical phase in a young person's life, filled with both academic and personal challenges. As mentors, we wore multiple hats, offering guidance not only in scientific pursuits but also in navigating the intricate landscape of adolescence.
