Created a free surf report service for the 7 Mile Island community and greater area. Originally began as a website and Instagram page in 2015. Starting in summer 2016, the Avalon Surf Report moved to Instagram and Facebook. Studying the ocean and weather for many years led me to create this service to help fellow surfers in my community.

Seasonal Role working in Freds Liquor Store. Responsibilities included stocking product in the store, working the register, and answering customers questions both in store and via telephone.

Served as a resource in the STAR Center (Students Taking Academic Responsibility), which provides students with printing resources, study spaces, tutoring services. In addition, I assisted students with academic resources from my experience working as an Academic Mentor.

Greater San Diego Area

Served as an Academic Advisor to 40 Freshman in the Zura Residence Hall at San Diego State. I met with residents individually to discuss and serve as a resource for all things related to academics and worked with Resident Advisors on the staff.

Seasonal Role working in the breakfast cafe. I was in charge of taking customers orders for dine in and take out, making coffee beverages, refilling stock, and serving food.

Served as the first Scholarship Chairman of the Sigma Chi Psi colony, which I also helped start beginning in January 2017. As scholarship chairman, I created and enforced a Scholarship Program that outlined GPA requirements and a study hours program. I implemented the use of the “mygreekstudy” software to track weekly study hours. In addition, I helped brothers apply for scholarships through the international fraternity and secured $7,000 in scholarships during the academic year.
